Naive Oil on Panel of British thoroughbred race horse "Big Game". Won Eight of his 9 races for his owner King George VI. His success and royal connection made him one of the most popular racehorses of his time. He is signed Big Game and initialed R P. Romance would really want this example to have been painted by the stable lad or hand but sadly we cannot verify this. Totally original condition with craquelure to the surface. England Circa 1945
