Carved Stone Coffee Table
Stock Number: 2035Large 19th Century carved stone tablet, with the inscription P.A.S 1841 Chirurgien. Translated as Surgeon presumably with his initials and date. Also included is a star and a witches mark also carved in to ward away evil spirits. Most likely this carved stone tablet would have been outside of the Surgeons practice or surgery, advertising his whereabouts. This has been placed onto an early 18th Century Carved stone pillar to make the most exceptional interior or exterior coffee table. France 18th and 19th Century components.
