Remarkable Early 20th Century Birdcage in The Form of a Chateau
Stock Number: 2942Remarkable Large birdcage in the form of a chateau, impressive attention to detail with ramparts and turrets, finials and weathervanes. Included in the sale is a photo of the maker only known as "Papa", dating it to 1929-1930. Although we have not been able to find the actual chateau this is a model of, we know it is from the area towards the end of the Loire valley, Near Nantes.
